History
In 2007 the DM2F group, specialising in panel cutting, stamping, beating and metal-working in general, was asked by several of our major customers, already present in a “low cost” zone, to supply them “foot of line”. So DM2F decided to go International.
In 2007, DM2F acquired a 6,500 square metre site in the Pitesti industrial estate not far from the DACIA/RENAULT automotive plant and initiated the construction of a 2,000 sq.m. factory. In October 2008, the financial crisis hit Europe and building was stopped although earth-moving was finished and work had started on the foundations.
Our RUMANIAN adventure began again in October 2010!
In 2010, the economy showed signs of recovery and so DM2F decided to revive our RUMANIAN project.
To equip and make our Rumanian facility autonomous, the group bought presses and production know-how from a French company that was closing down.
The first big orders arrived simultaneously, justifying the revival of our project shelved in 2009.
The major change is that we have rented a recent 2,000 sq.m. facility and are installing the production equipment in it to ensure being open in time to meet the new orders.
The new presses were installed and the facility is filling up rapidly.

We opened for business on November 8, and are already producing the first tack welding and panel-beating orders.
The first employees are already hard at work on the machines. The first international DM2F group project is up and running.
We wish MPI “Good Luck”.
MPI aims to finish the year 2010 with a work force of 10 people and build up to 25 jobs in 2011, as business develops.
